Adopt-an-Athlete

Participation in Special Olympics DC has always been free of charge, not to mention equipment, facility rental, transportation, insurance or other incidentals that add so much to the experience.

One of the easiest ways to support our athletes is to, Adopt-an-Athlete. This year-round initiative provides an economical way to support the athletes and programs so vital in our resource-strapped community.

Threshold support begins at $35, although the true cost of sponsoring an athlete for an 8-week training and competition session begins at $125 and varies by sport.
