Golf

Special Olympics D.C. athletes are provided the opportunity to learn golf each week at the historic Langston Golf Course. Practices are designed to meet the needs of athletes of all ability levels, through individualized instruction in a variety of fundamental golf skills such as putting, pitch shots, and iron shots. Athletes who master these skills are then taught how to play the game of golf and encouraged to advance to match play.
