  • Athletes compete in singles bowling against bowlers of similar age and ability levels.
Adult Bowling and Unified Doubles Bowling

  • Adult athletes compete in singles bowling against bowlers of similar ability levels.  Unified Bowling competition features doubles teams composed of one adult Special Olympics bowler and an adult Unified partner.
Unified Basketball
  • Tuesday, March 13 – East Division Championship Tournament
  • 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm
  • Howard University
    Burr Gymnasium
  • Adult Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners play together on teams in a Unified Basketball League each week.  Standings determine the seeding and schedule for the East Division Championship Tournament.
  • Thursday, March 15 – West Division Championship Tournament
  • 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm
  • Howard University

  • Adult Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners play together on teams in a Unified Basketball League each week.  Standings determine the seeding and schedule for the West Division Championship Tournament.
Adult Basketball Individual Skills Competition and Motor Activities Training Program

  • Individual Skills Competition in dribbling, passing, and shooting is held for adult Special Olympics athletes.  The Motor Activities Training Program showcases lower ability athletes.
Speed Skating
  • Tuesday, February 21
  • 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
  • Friends of Fort Dupont Ice Arena

  • Championship competition will be conducted in speed skating races ranging from 500 Meters to the 10 Meter Assisted Skate.
